Dr. Tim Johnson graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Zoology before attending and graduating from The College of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Florida in 1983 with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
He followed his passion for skiing and love of the west to Taos, New Mexico where he practiced for several years before opening The Johnson Veterinary Clinic. In 1991 his dream of a private practice was realized when The Johnson Veterinary Clinic was opened on Highway 64 in El Prado New Mexico. Dr. Johnson’s expertise includes treatment of both large and small animals with emphasis on preventative medicine.

Dr. Johnson actively participates in continuing education on a yearly basis to stay informed about the most recent technologies and advancements in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Johnson likes to spend his free time in the mountains horseback riding and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of northern New Mexico.
